This is not the first time Wrangler Jeans is venturing into the world of NFTs, however, Deadfellaz is looking to build a lasting partnership with the brand.
Deadfellaz X Wrangler: Cowboys + Zombies
Deadfellaz announced the partnership that will see a merging of Web2 and Web3 via a tweet which was then retweeted by Wrangler Jeans’ official account. Furthermore, they also stated that they will host a competition to kick off the partnership. In true Deadfellaz style, the competition allows Deadfellaz fans to work together and win prizes, both physical and digital. The tweet then continues with a call to ‘stay tuned for more information’.
Wrangler’s journey in the NFT space
Wrangler is not new to the world of NFTs. Earlier this year, Wrangler launched an NFT collection named “Mr. Wrangler” in a partnership with NFT marketplace, LTD.INC and Grammy award winner, Leon Bridges. Therefore, we expect a lot from the recent partnership with the Horde Mother’s NFT creation.
Fashion Brands have continuously explored the NFT space
Notable fashion brands have gone beyond traditional fashion concepts to explore new fashion ideas and technologies, this would include the use of NFTs. We have previously seen Gucci, Prada and Burberry exploring the Metaverse, and AR fashion is making waves in Web3.
