The family-friendly, school-based NFT, dubbed the ‘PUPtastic Fan Pass’, will exist on the Zigazoo platform – a child-safe social network created by educators and parents. The first NFT drop is live on the Flow blockchain, coinciding with the return to school.
Pup Academy NFTs teach children blockchain in a safe environment
Interest in Web3 and the Metaverse continues to grow. Air Bud Entertainment (the company behind the Netflix show Pup Academy) aims to provide a safe place for kids to have fun and learn.
PUPtastic Fan Pass will be the first live-action drop on the Zigazoo platform. The collection aims to help children and parents learn about Web3 and the blockchain using characters they know. The Zigazoo platform allows you to use characters from the show, videos, sing-alongs, character exclamations and digital dog tags to create an immersive Pup Academy content experience for kids.
In addition, there will also be some innovative features in the Pup Academy NFT collection. This includes real events, some sort of trading platform, and other methods to help kids understand the NFT world.
Commenting on this new venture, Robert Vince, CEO of Air Bud Entertainment said:
“Zigazoo is an exciting destination for children to safely express their creativity as part of a connected community. Parents look to Air Bud Entertainment releases to offer them the opportunity to watch movies with their children. The Zigazoo platform gives us a great new way to expand our brand’s mission of connecting families to celebrate universal themes like friendship and teamwork.”
Zigazoo – the kid-friendly social network
Zigazoo will also help companies offer a new way of sharing with their young fans in a safe environment. Significantly, the kidSAFE platform is COPPA certified, which means it meets strict child safety regulations.
Finally, the Pup Academy NFTs are the latest addition to the growing family-friendly NFT collections. Zigazoo has previously collaborated with Moonbug Entertainment, creators of the Blippi and CoComelon brands.
