In a September 19 tweet, Mike Tyson confirmed the new partnership. Holders will use Iron Pigeons NFTs as playable trading cards in Ex Populus studios’ highly anticipated trading card game, Final Form.
Mike Tyson is an American former professional boxer renowned for his love for pigeons since he was a little boy in Brooklyn. He even fought a bully who killed his pet in his first-ever fight.
Tyson Extends His Love For Pigeons To NFTs
In the same spirit, Tyson has collaborated with Ex Populus to launch a Pigeon-themed NFT collection. The Iron Pigeons NFT project will feature a limited edition of 10,000 algorithmically generated images of Pigeon based on dozens of characteristics from award-winning artists.
Users will use the newly launched NFTs as playable trading cards in the Final Form game. Apart from tokenized trading cards, each digital collectible will include a link to a high-resolution artwork version. Mike Tyson has dropped the NFT collection in partnership with NFT creative agency 1ofOne.
Iron Pigeon NFTs Functionality
The Iron Pigeon NFTs will allow holders to evolve their pigeons into the upcoming Final Form game launch, including their Decentralized Automous GigaUnits. DAGs are a collection of distinctive hand-drawn features. The Final Form website noted:
“In Final Form, players are immersed in a world where mankind, beasts, gods and sentient machines arrive via portals from various dimensions. Each comes from universes with varying realities, laws of physics, and visual appearances.”
According to the team behind development, the highly anticipated Final Form metaverse game is currently under development and will be available before the end of next month.
Another metaverse and NFT powered game set to launch next month is Tamadoge, a Dog themed virtual pets game whose native token TAMA will list on a tier one crypto exchange in the coming days.
