  • Binance Argentina visa debit card users can now pay online using the SHIB token.
  • The first 5,000 Argentina users to apply for a card would qualify for a 5 BUSD token voucher after making a successful card transaction. One user will also have a chance of winning 1 BTC via token voucher.
  • Other previously supported cryptos on the Binance card include BNB, BTC, ETH, ADA, XRP, and 11 others.

The verified handle of  Shiba Inu posted the development early today, stating that the SHIB token is now tenable for payment at over 90 million merchants worldwide.

Binance Argentina consequently launched a promotional offer for the new card acquirers. It promised the first 5,000 users who apply for their card and make a successful card transaction between September 12 and September 30 would qualify to receive a 5 BUSD token voucher. Additionally, one eligible user will be selected based on Binance’s specific rules to win 1 BTC via token voucher.

Other previously supported cryptocurrencies include Binance coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and 12 others. Cardholders may edit their payment priority preference on the Binance app from the card dashboard to add, remove or rank cryptocurrencies for spending according to their choice. Users must have at least six cryptocurrencies in their payment priority list and a maximum of 12.

In 2020, Binance launched the crypto visa card solution to ease the friction of online payment, especially for people with a crypto investment. The Binance card enables real-time cryptocurrency conversion to EUR currency at the point of transaction, and a buyer could spend EUR directly from their Binance funding wallet.

Although, this service is only available to Binance users in Europe and Ukrainian refugees in the EEA country.

Earlier in June this year, Binance introduced a taxi hauling service for its users to various locations directly on the Binance app. The service is open to 150 countries across the globe, and users can pay for their rides with either BNB or BUSD. This rider service is available in the Binance Pay section, accessible by swiping down from the exchange app.
