Bam Adebayo, a Miami Heat center, NBA All-Star, and philanthropist, will join the NFT initiative Black is Beautiful as a Founding Collaborator with a focus on elevating artists of color throughout the Web3 sector and beyond, House of First and The Painted House announced today.

Bam Adebayo’s Contribution To Society
Bam Adebayo, an NBA All-Star and philanthropist, said, “I’m impressed by the historic aspect of this new collection, offering a wonderful chance to promote black art and black life in new ways while assuring possibilities to support greater diversity and higher representation.”
Adebayo, a five-star recruit who was one of the top high school talents in the 2016 class, committed to the University of Kentucky before being taken by the Miami Heat as the 14th pick in 2017 NBA Draft. Bam signed a maximum contract deal with the Miami Heat in 2020. He is a youthful but adaptable big man on a legendary franchise, an All-Star, and now an Olympic champion.
According to Bam’s ideals, Black is Beautiful is committed to philanthropic goals and has partnered with a number of HBCUs and Black organizations and institutions to receive philanthropic contributions as well as chances for education, access, and involvement. Additionally, Bam will work with the project to improve holder privileges, which will include community interaction, exclusive access to live events including Art Basel Miami, CES, SXSW & NFT.NYC, exclusive products, web3 education, and more.
